We're staying tonight with our cousins Pat and Larry in Bridgeview, right outside of Chicago. Another cousin, Terry, his wife Lucy and their two kids Zak and Alicia came over after work for a visit. Pat and Larry's granddaughter Kayla (in the blue blouse) is here, too. When we first arrived this afternoon, we stuffed ourselves with pastries Pat bought at a killer local bakery and a few hours later we stuffed ourselves again with the best pizza from Fansos. I hope a pattern is not developing here of eating our way across the country, but there are just no good bakeries in Raleigh. Why not?
